Here’s 3 Easy Steps to Help you Get Started in Online Marketing
There’s certainly no one right way to Get Started in Online Marketing. That’s a good thing, as you can go in many different directions depending on what your interests and goals are. But, it can be a bad thing too if you lack direction and just can’t figure out where to begin.
Don’t get overwhelmed. Just follow the process below to focus your actions and start getting your marketing working for you. Just get started!
Do so with these 3 easy steps designed to help you get started in online marketing. This isn’t a pitch for any specific product or opportunity., but make sure you read to the end to learn about the single strategy that almost all successful online marketers use.
You can apply it to market any product or service of your own, or maybe its an affiliate marketing opportunity or even a network marketing opportunity.
Step 1 – Choose An Audience
This assume’s that you’ve already chosen a product, business, program, or opportunity that you want to market. Identify who your ideal customer/prospect is. Be very specific. Who you are targeting is going to lay the framework for all your future marketing and promotion.
If you’re not sure who exactly your audience is. Do some research. Model what other marketers are doing.
Step 2 – Identify Your Audience’s Needs / Problems
So this is the backbone of Intent Based Branding, which is a technique that I’m a huge fan of and use all the time.
This begins with identify what results a prospect wants, but that they are not getting. Be specific about this. It will vary depending on your niche or line of business.
Stick to the needs and problems of your audience that you have a specific solution for. That you can help them with NOW. Where you can provide actionable value.
Step 3 – Create Content That Solves Their Problems
Once you have identified your ideal prospects want’s and problems, now you can create your online marketing content, which actually provides value and helps solve their problems, while at the same time leading them to your offer.
You will be giving away value here, FOR FREE. That’s on purpose and totally okay. This is how you build a relationship with your prospects, prove your worth, and create a loyal customer that will continue to buy from you again and again.

From there, you will absolutely need a system to support your business goals. Use my system, use your own, use someone else’s. Just make sure you have a plan and a system that supports it.
